A Peurto Vallarta favourite since the 1960s
El Dorado was opened in 1959 by the Wulff family on Los Muertos beach. For many years, it was the premier location of jet setters and famous Hollywood actors who spent the afternoons relaxing and enjoying the beauty and charm of old town Puerto Vallarta while sipping Pacificos and margaritas on the beach.
Throughout the years, it evolved with the town to become an all day operation catering to those who wanted to spend the day people watching and dining on Los Muertos beach. In 2016, Grupo La Palapa acquired the restaurant and added the service and ambiance expertise they are known for.
