A Puerto Vallarta favorite since 1959
El Dorado was opened in 1959 by the Wulff family on Los Muertos beach. For many years it was the premier location of jet setters and Hollywood actors, who spent their afternoons enjoying the charm of old town Puerto Vallarta while sipping Pacificos and margaritas on the sand.
Over the years it evolved with the town into an all-day operation, for people who wanted to spend the whole day watching the beach and dining beside it. In 2016 Grupo La Palapa took over the restaurant and brought the service and ambiance they are known for. We hope you visit and experience El Dorado as a classic Puerto Vallarta restaurant.
A day at El Dorado
